about
I wrote this one a while back actually, but tweaked it more recently and thought it would be nice to whack it on here before I put some new tracks on.
It's essentially about a woman I dated who would spend an incessant amount of time slapping on her make up, often forgetting that beauty lies within.
lyrics
Have you seen your girl without make up on?
Wouldn't you say she is another woman?
First she asked me:
"How'ma looking?"
And I said: "Darling, just keep smiling...
Coz I like your body and I like your soul
So even if ones not on form
I don't care
I don't care at all"
But she said: "Give me; just a second
I just need to
Get myself together."
And I know;
I know
She's gonna take a...a whole hour
And then she asked me:
"How'ma looking?"
And I said "Darling, you look dazzling.
...Just like before"
Mmm mmm
Have you seen your girl
Without make up on?
Wouldn't you say she is
Another woman?
I've seen her
I've seen her
I've seen her
With nothing on...
(Spoken): "Ive seen her with nothing on"
And she's another woman
She's not the one I'd known
But she looked fine to me
